Toni Nogolica advises domestic and foreign clients primarily in the sectors of construction, energy, and sports law. Toni also advises clients in all aspects of commercial, obligations, and labor law, as well as in complex litigation and arbitration proceedings.
Toni has experience in more than 35 arbitration proceedings conducted under the most common rules, including ICC, VIAC, CAM, DIAC, CAS, SAS-HGK, ICSID and UNCITRAL. He is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR for Croatia, as well as a VIAC Ambassador for the Republic of Croatia. Toni also participates as an arbitrator and assistant to arbitral tribunals in complex international disputes. He is a member of numerous professional organizations in the field of commercial arbitration, teaches international arbitration at university level, and has published several articles in Croatian and international legal journals.
He has been appointed as an arbitrator on several lists of arbitrators of arbitration institutions in Croatia and worldwide, including, for example, the lists of the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK), the World Intellectual Property Organization, and the Vienna International Arbitral Centre. In the Republic of Croatia, Toni is one of only seven attorneys who have been appointed to the list of dispute adjudicators under the FIDIC Conditions of Contract, which brings together experts with many years of experience, knowledge, and reputation in technical or legal sciences qualified to resolve disputes on construction projects. In addition to construction and energy, Toni has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), as well as in banking and finance, distribution and commercial agency law, sports law, and intellectual property law.
He has lived and worked in Spain, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, and Croatia. He obtained the title of Master of Laws at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, and completed postgraduate studies at the prestigious Sciences Po in Paris, where he completed studies in transnational arbitration and dispute resolution.
In addition to his native Croatian, Toni is fluent in English and French, and also has working knowledge of Spanish.
